Matisse Renoir was founded in 1946 by Jerry Fels and became one of the most influential costume jewelry houses of the era, celebrated for its handcrafted copper and enamel modernist designs. The Matisse line introduced the vibrant enameling; the Renoir line focused on polished copper. Both are highly collectible today.
