Ox Herding: A Reworking of the Zen Text pairs Joel Weishaus’s text with block prints by Arthur Okamura. Published by Cranium Press in San Francisco in 1971, this limited-edition portfolio contains nine unbound folded sheets, housed in a patterned, ribbon-tied cover.
Black-and-white prints are mounted on colored papers, with the text and images arranged to be read and viewed together.

- Printed by Clifford Burke and Holbrook Teter in February and March 1971
- Block prints on Hosho paper, mounted on papers from the Curtis and Nekoosa mills
- Handset in Centaur, the typeface designed by Bruce Rogers
Condition: Very good, with fading to the portfolio spine. Pages are clean.
