Mid-Century Roselane Guan Yin and Celadon Flower Trinket Box
A quietly beautiful pairing — a delicate Guan Yin in a contemplative pose, accompanied by a small celadon flower box at her feet for keeping rings, pins, or other small treasures.
The porcelain Guan Yin has an off-white, parchment coloration and is marked Roselane 185 on the bottom and Tagaris on the foot. The petite flower box has a very shallow interior with an Asian chop maker's mark on the bottom.

Roselane Pottery was a husband-and-wife operation founded in Pasadena, California in 1938 by William and Georgia Fields. During the 1940s and 1950s, the company was known for its diverse lineup of mid-century art pottery.
