A beautifully colored vintage bamboo brush pot in the Chinese scholarly tradition, carved with a serene figure — likely a scholar or Guanyin in contemplation — alongside four Chinese characters. Two have been identified as 月 (moon) and 風 (wind); the remaining two await a discerning eye. Marked with two lines on the base. A poetic and meditative desk object with genuine literary character.

Good condition; surface splits consistent with the natural aging of older bamboo — splits do not penetrate to the interior.
