A traditional pair of fierce imperial guardian lions — known as Fu dogs or foo dogs — rendered in painted chalkware with a nicely aged finish. These iconic figures have stood watch over doorways and shelves for centuries, and this 1970s pair brings that same commanding presence to your bookshelf or desk.

Good condition with a repaired and re-colored spot at the base of one figure.
